New Orleans beats San Antonio 101-82, taking Game 1. The Spurs’ 3-headed frontcourt second banana of Oberto, Thomas, and Horry did little to slow the Hornets’ David West. Thomas was especially bad after Oberto had gotten off to an OK start. Mo Peterson, on the other hand, appears to be a serious difference maker for New Orleans.
A bug in the program reversed the green-red colors for the Spurs at the beginning of the game. Problem fixed.
